Bioclimatic residence in the Prefecture of Rodopi. This house is addressed to a person who intends to settle in the area from abroad using the space as her retreat. The design has 3 main axes. First, an open and unobstructed view of the sea and the surrounding area. Clear separation of functions into living and sleeping areas. Clean, simple lines harmonized with the environment and architecture of the place. Great emphasis was placed on the energy saving of the residence through its architecture and structure. Natural through ventilation in all areas. Natural expansion of the warm air mass during the warm months. The western aspect is dominated by a large wavy structure which acts as a second skin to the building and protects it from the intense, annoying western sun. At the same time, it cools the building during the summer months and protects the residents from prying eyes. The recesses and the atrium offer natural lighting throughout the entire length of the building in all seasons and months.
